Fundraising

How do we fund our projects, programmes and charitable activities? We finance our projects through a variety of initiatives ranging from art exhibitions in Dubai, musical concerts in London and local fundraisers/dinners in Baghdad, to corporate sponsorship and private donations from individuals and Kubba family members. In the past we have collaborated with individuals and organisations from diverse backgrounds in support of our clear and critical mission to rebuild Iraqi education, health and civil society.

We are particularly grateful for the support we have received from the following individuals and organisations over the years:

• Ilham Al Madfai, one of Iraq’s most talented singers for the support given by him during his 2004 and 2005 London concerts

• Iraqi Youth Foundation for the fundraising dinners held on our behalf

• Iraqi student societies at Imperial College London, Kings College London and Queen Mary and Westfield for their unstinting fundraising efforts on our behalf
